Before you change a confirmed yacht booking.
Before confirming a Portofino-area yacht, ask for the written payment, change and cancellation terms. The appropriate rules depend on the vessel and contracting provider; a general planning page cannot establish a refund entitlement.
A different port can be a different arrangement
Moving embarkation between Portofino, Santa Margherita or another marina may affect the yacht's schedule and cost. Request that change through the provider handling the booking. A revised meeting point is not agreed until the provider confirms it.
Review the date and guest list together
Extra guests, another night aboard or a new finishing port may require a revised proposal. Explain the whole change promptly so accommodation and operating arrangements can be considered together. Submitting another enquiry here does not amend a confirmed charter.
Ask about alternatives before paying
The captain can change the itinerary for unsuitable conditions. Have the contract explain what happens if a route changes, the trip is postponed or the charter is cancelled, including relevant deadlines and financial consequences.
