Keep the promises practical
The light and conditions cannot be guaranteed. The captain chooses the final route, and the booking terms should explain changes. Ask for the named yacht, crew, duration and complete cost, including fuel or delivery where relevant.
More practical details
Actual photographs and the arrangements for your evening arrive in the proposal before a booking decision.
Let the date set the hour
Ask for a boarding time suited to your date and the proposed outing. Sunset changes with the season, and the party still needs time to arrive at the actual marina. A Portofino request may start in Santa Margherita or another nearby location; have that confirmed before arranging transport.
More practical details
Check the yacht’s seating and shelter for the whole evening. An indoor saloon may be useful after time on deck. A meal needs proper table places and a service arrangement, not only a photograph of a beautifully set cockpit.
Add your arrival and comfort details
A short letter before you go
Tell us where you expect to arrive, then add what would help your company feel comfortable aboard. Those two details give the outing a useful beginning.
