Give lunch enough time
A long coastal passage and a leisurely meal use the same day. Discuss whether the yacht will be stopped or moving during service and leave the final arrangement to the captain’s judgement. Eating ashore adds landing or transfer and reservation questions.
More practical details
Connect the meal to the confirmed departure point, duration and complete charter cost. A clear proposal makes it easier to choose the boat for the day you actually want.
Specify the kind of meal
A prepared picnic-style lunch, delivered catering and a chef cooking aboard are different services. Explain which you want and ask who serves it. A galley is equipment, not a promise of chef service while the captain operates the yacht.
More practical details
Agree allergies, dietary needs, children’s meals and drinks before departure. The quotation should explain what is supplied, what can be brought aboard and how extras are charged. A styled dining photograph does not define the menu.
Add your arrival and comfort details
A short letter before you go
Tell us where you expect to arrive, then add what would help your company feel comfortable aboard. Those two details give the outing a useful beginning.
